On Montgomery’s early absence:

On having that kind of injury in January:
“We have been through a lot of stuff. You know, I mean, (Montgomery) is one of the elite fighters in the world, he’s one of the toughest fighters in the world and he had a career-ending injury that happened during the World Tour. He came back and he tried to make a fight but he had to get out of it and unfortunately we were unable to make that fight happen. So he’s had a few setbacks. I’m not surprised that he took some time away, some time to digest everything, but it happened right at the start of the World Tour so for him to do this, I think he needed some time and space and that’s what we have given him.”
On having a healthy Georges St. Pierre around to help:
“Yeah, obviously he was a big part of the last World Tour, he was a good friend of ours. I think the whole thing is, you know, it’s not easy for you guys to understand and it’s not easy for us to understand what it means and it’s not easy for us to accept because it affects us but in a good way. It doesn’t affect us negatively and it gives us a chance to move on and we have had a couple of good fighters to replace him and a couple of other fighters to come in. It’s hard to say, you know, as a fighter and as a fighter-person, how does it feel? How does it affect you? How do you approach it? We have a good support group.”
On whether or not the Reebok deal will help this year’s fight card:
